By funding AnyVision, whose facial recognition technology was deployed throughout the occupied West Bank, Microsoft AI enabled the Israeli military to track and monitor Palestinians under a brutal system of apartheid. This was not accidental, it was a deliberate investment in tech built for military occupation.
An internal audit confirmed that AnyVision’s AI was used in covert military operations. Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program knew this and only cut ties after public pressure, not because of ethics, but to protect its image. This is bloodstained profit dressed up as innovation.
