Smartville Makes Cleantech 50 to Watch List

Carlsbad-based Cleantech San Diego member and Southern California Energy Innovation Network (SCEIN) company Smartville has been named among the 2024 Cleantech 50 to Watch. The annual list published the the Cleantech Group highlights 50 early-stage companies from across the globe that are creating groundbreaking solutions to address some of the world’s most pressing environmental and sustainability challenges. Smartville was recognized in the category of Energy & Power for its second-life energy storage systems using used electric vehicle batteries.
The companies featured on the list were selected through a rigorous process that involved nominations from a global expert panel of investors, industry experts, and cleantech professionals, as well as in-depth analysis by Cleantech Group’s research team. Cleantech San Diego’s Jason Anderson served on the global expert panel.
