Togg, Türkiyé’s national carmaker, prepares to launch its highly anticipated second model, the T10F electric vehicle, before the end of the third quarter. This sleek fastback builds on the success of the T10X SUV, aiming to further cement Togg’s leadership in the rapidly growing Turkish EV market and signal its global ambitions.
The T10X prototype was initially revealed on December 27, 2019, with mass production commencing in early 2023 following the receipt of type approval. CleanTechnica was in Turkey for the reveal of the T10X. Togg escalated its 2023 production target for that car from 20,000 to 28,000 units after receiving over 177,000 pre-orders. At the January 2024 CES in Las Vegas, Togg previewed the T10F.
The Latest T10F
The fastback-shaped T10F is positioned as a sportier alternative to the T10X, offering an estimated range of up to 600 kilometers (approximately 373 miles) for the rear-wheel-drive variant. That’s about 80 kilometers more than its SUV counterpart. It has advanced driver-assistance systems and integrated AI for vehicle management and driving aids.
It will come in a single-motor, rear-wheel drive that produces 160 kW (218 PS or ~215 hp) and 350 Nm of torque. This version can do 0–100 km/h (0–60 mph) in 7.2 seconds. The more expensive all-wheel drive has two motors that whip out a combined 320 kW (435 PS or ~429 hp) that will bring it to 100 km/h from zero in 4.4 seconds. Claimed torque is 700 Nm. In both variants, the charging time is 28 minutes using a 180 kW DC charging socket.
According to official literature, the T10F features “a 41.3-inch side-to-side screen experience consisting of a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 29-inch infotainment screen, an 8-inch touch control screen, an in-car social camera, high-speed mobile internet and wifi hot spot, digital cockpit technology with Snapdragon processor, and interior alternatives differentiated by new seat, steering wheel and door handle design elements.”

Togg began to accept pre-orders for the T10F earlier this year, with deliveries expected to commence from September to December 2025.
Market Leadership in Türkiye
Togg has consistently maintained its leadership in Türkiye’s battery electric vehicle segment.
According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), Togg sold 3,678 units in May 2025 alone, outselling its closest competitor, BYD, by 1,452 units and securing a commanding 22% share of the national EV market for that month. BMW, BYD, Mercedes-Benz, Ssangyong (known as KG Mobility), and Tesla are also in the pure battery EV game.
However, cumulative averages show overall leadership in Türkiye’s pure EV market has been led by Togg. Between January and May 2025, Togg’s total electric vehicle sales reached 14,003 units, representing a substantial 24% market share of the BEV market. In January 2025, Togg had a 25% market share.
BYD first came in 2023 with the Atto 3. In January 2025, BYD secured second place in the EV rankings. In April 2025, it led the pure electric vehicle market with 5,397 units sold, surpassing Togg’s 3,537 units. Togg quickly got back the honors from BYD with 3,678 units sold compared to BYD’s 1,880 unit sales the following month.
Cumulatively, nearly 65,000 T10X were sold, solidifying Togg’s dominant position in the domestic EV landscape.
A National Car
Togg holds a unique status as Türkiye’s “official” national car, a designation shared by only a few nations globally, such as Honqi for China, Vinfast for Vietnam, and Proton for Malaysia. This “national” distinction signifies direct government declaration or strong participation and support.
The Togg Technology Campus, where vehicles are made, was officially inaugurated on October 29, 2022, coinciding with Republic Day, with Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğann opening the plant. This ceremony marked the rollout of the first C-segment SUV from the assembly line.

A key aspect of Togg’s strategy is its commitment to localization.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the domestic content ratio of Togg vehicles has significantly increased from over 51% at the start of production to nearly 75% as of May 2024, highlighting Türkiye’s growing capabilities in the automotive sector.
Togg’s battery systems are produced through Siro, a 50–50 joint venture established in 2021 with China-based Farasis Energy. Siro is responsible for manufacturing the modules and battery packs utilized in Togg’s smart vehicles, playing a crucial role in the company’s efforts to enhance local production.
The company has also developed its own charging network, branded as Trugo. As of June 2025, this extensive network comprises over 1,000 ultra-fast DC charging units and more than 600 AC stations, strategically distributed across all 81 provinces of Türkiye, supporting the widespread adoption of EVs.
International Expansion and Brand Recognition
Togg is actively pursuing a European expansion strategy, having established a subsidiary in Stuttgart, Germany, as early as May 2021. Togg aims to open T10X pre-orders in Europe by the end of this year and intends to broaden its export reach with the T10F by 2026.
Beyond its impressive market performance, Togg has garnered significant recognition within industrial and branding spheres. It ranked 37th in the 2024 “Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Türkiye” list by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, improving five places from the previous year. Furthermore, Brand Finance recognized Togg as the 20th most valuable brand in Türkiye in its 2025 “Türkiye 125” report.
