Closed. This question is off-topic. It is not currently accepting answers.

I’m currently using an iPhone X (3GB RAM) for gaming, but I’ve been experiencing frequent app crashes, likely due to RAM limitations (especially in demanding games like Monster Hunter Now, which recommends at least 3GB RAM10). I’m considering an upgrade but can’t decide between:

iPhone 13 Pro Max (6GB RAM) – Known for strong performance with the A15 chip and ProMotion display13.

iPad Pro 6th Gen (16GB RAM, M2 chip) – Much higher RAM, but I’m unsure if apps (especially mobile games) are optimized to utilize that extra memory efficiently.

    Key Concerns:

Does the iPad Pro’s 16GB RAM actually improve gaming stability, or do apps (even the same ones on iPhone) consume more RAM due to the larger display/resolution?

Would the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s 6GB RAM be sufficient for modern mobile gaming without crashes?

Are there any optimization differences between iOS (iPhone) and iPadOS for the same apps?

I’d appreciate insights from anyone who’s used either device for gaming, especially if you’ve compared performance on both. Thanks!
